Hankkija Oy

Hankkija Oy is Finland's biggest agribusiness company, with a market share of 50% and turnover of EUR 1 billion. The company has around 1,000 employees, 60 branches and 8 major regional machine centres around the country.

Danish Agro acquired Hankkija in 2013, since when the focus has been on integrating the company efficiently into the group.

Synergies such as group purchasing have been successfully exploited, and Hankkija's results have been considerably strengthened since joining the group.

The company is the exclusive dealer of John Deere in Finland in addition to its agribusiness activities and machinery sales.

Hankkija runs 60 'Agrimarket' retail outlets serving professional farmers and private customers. Multasormi garden centres often share the Agrimarket premises, also owned by Hankkija, and the company's head office is in Hyvinkää.
